Finger Lakes Community College, or FLCC, is a two-year college, with its main campus located in Canandaigua. The college offers evening and daytime classes and offers a concurrent enrollment program with area high schools. FLCC serves many adults as well as traditionally aged students, and offers professional development and continuing education to area businesses. FLCC has experenced rapid growth and currently has over 6,000 undergraduate students. The college has three other campus centers located in Geneva, Newark, and Victor. The college will soon break ground for a viticulture center in Geneva to support the Viticulture and Wine Technology degree program.
Located on the FLCC campus is the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC), a live music outdoor concert venue that holds shows during the summer season. Many big ticket artists and bands perform there, including both modern and classic rock bands.
FLCC recently completed construction on a major addition which containing the new Student Life Center and a 400 seat auditorium. The new Student Life Center is a Green Building, meaning it is environmentally friendly.
