Intersection of County Road 36 and US Route 20A in Honeoye
Honeoye is a hamlet in Ontario County, 33 miles South of Rochester. It is located at the North end of Honeoye Lake, along US Route 20A. The population of Honeyoye is about 3,500, but there is a large seasonal recreational population during the summer. A popular attraction is the Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area, a New York State Park located six miles south of Honeyoye, which is a winter snowsports (skiing and snowboarding) resort and a scenic trail overlooking Honeyoye Lake.
